To ride on their interests instead of shaping and molding them to become what others or society expect of them. Shermaine is passionate about empowering children to do whatever they set their mind on and creating an environment where a child is seen, heard and believed in.

If she were to be a plant, she would be a sequoia tree. Calm and stable, just like how the sequoia is able to withstand fires. The seeds of the sequoia also split open from forest fires which grow from the burnt, bare soil, resembling Trenna's resilience through challenges.
